Message From the Principal

Greetings Burton Elementary School Families and Community!
I hope that you are enjoying your summer vacation and taking advantage of this time to refresh your children's minds with increased mental and physical activities.  School is out, but learning should never cease.  The Public Library offers many learning opportunities throughout the summer that your children can participate in.  Also, please make sure that your children are continuing to read daily throughout the summer.
Here at Burton we are preparing for a great new school year.  I would like to invite all of you to be part of that preparation by joining us on Saturday, August 12 for "I Love Burton Day."  We will shine up our school on that day and we need your help.  You will receive phone calls from me providing you more information on this event or you may call the school office for more information; I hope to see you all there!
Jorge Ríos
